Song formats
Kar:
kar files (files with the *.kar ) are files created for
karaoke .
These songs contain the lyrics in the file.
When you load kar files to Microsing you will hear the music and see the
lyrics run in sync with the song.
The sound of kar files (like the mid files) depends on the sound card you
have.
Size 20 -50 KB
Mp3:
Mp3 files are much bigger files 3 -5 MB but the sound is
also much better.
Usually mp3 songs are WITH the original singer voice on.
So if you sing with mp3 you will hear the original singers voice + your
voice.
But you can also find mp3 playback (music only) on the Internet.
Mid:
Mid files are very good for karaoke because you can find
and download a lot of songs
From a lot of web sites on the web.
Mid files are also very fast to download (10-40 KB)
Wav:
Wav files have the best sound but they are very big files
20 MB - 50mb
Microsing save the recorded song to a wav file.
It's the best audio quality - wav files can be burned to a CD.
Effects
Eq effect:
Eq - effect can change the high freq. Sound or mid (middle
sound) or low (bass) of your voice:
The high freq. will do good to your voice .
The mid will give a "hard" sound to voice .
The low (bass) will give.. Well... try it :)...
Chorus Effect:
Chorus effect: use it to give a double voice effect or
distorted voice effect.
Echo effect:
The echo effects - add echo to your voice.
Hall Effect:
The Hall effect is a reverb effect that simulates a hall
reverb or room reverb.
Amp +:
Amp + add amplitude to your recorded voice (more voice
track level)
Amp -:
Amp - remove amplitude level from voice track level
Reverse:
Reverse the voice track.
Balance
Use the four sliders at the bottom right side:
Master
Its the master level off all tracks (music + voice)
Mp3 Level:
It's the level of Mp3
Mid/Wav/Rmi:
Level of Mid/Wav/Rmi
Voice:
Level of the voice
