2. How to install CD to MP3 Ripper?
Find the setup package you have downloaded from the website. If it's
an exe file, double click it to run it, then follow the prompts to
finish the installation procedure. If it's a zip file, please unzip
it with WinZip first, then click the exe file to install it.
After the installation, there is a shortcut created on the desktop and
under the programs group, see it from "Start > Programs > CD to MP3
Ripper".
3. How to launch it?
When the CD to MP3 Ripper is installed successfully on to your computer,
there should have a shortcut created on the desktop, you may double click
it to launch it. You may also run it from "Start > Programs > CD to MP3
Ripper > CD to MP3 Ripper".
4. How to uninstall it from my computer?
For Windows 9x, Me, NT, 2000, please click "Start > Settings > Control
Panel" .
For Windows XP, please click "Start > Control Panel".
Click the item "Add/Remove Programs", then select "CD to MP3 Ripper" from
the list and click the "Remove" button to uninstall it.
5. How to set the output options when converting CD to
audio files?
Before ripping CDs to audio files, you can configure the output audio
files' settings including CBR, VBR, Maximum Bitrate, Minimum Bitrate,
Quality, Channels, Output Folder. You may enter the options dialog from
"Tools > Options ..."
6. How to rename the default tracks' names?
The default tracks' names are "Tracks1.xxx" (xxx is the extension name
that may be mp3, wav, wma, ogg, vqf), "Tracks2.xxx", "Tracks3.xxx", ...
If you want to change these default named tracks, you may double click the
item, then enter a different name when an input box is activated.
You can also click the list to highlight it, click the "Property" button
on the toolbar or click the menu item "File > Property ..." to activate
the input box.
7. When ripping CDs to WMAs, why the WMA files are
of very small sizes (only several K bytes)?
This may because that the WMA codec is not installed on your computer, or
is not installed correctly, or the wrong version of WMA codec is
installed.
It may also because of the followings:
A, The CD that you try to rip is not standard audio CD, it may be
Video CD or DATA CD. On this case, you can not use the CD to MP3 Ripper
to rip it. You should find a recorder to record the streaming.
B, The CD that you try to rip is dirty. On this case, you may try to
wash the CD with water and then try again when it's clean and dry.
C, The CD that you try to rip is broken. On this case, we can not
help you.
D, You may also try to change the output folder to a simple one like
"C:\mymusic" .
8. Why can't it convert my WMA files?
Our software does not convert protected WMA files. To convert the WMA
files, please make sure you may play it on your computer and the WMA
file(s) are not copyright protected! And please make sure that the Windows
Media Format codec is installed on your computer.
9. Why can't I find the converted WMA files?
Please enter the options dialog to see what's your destination output
folder. For example, if you are converting MP3 to WMA files, you should
see the WMA output folder. Then enter the output folder for the converted
files. If there are no converted files in the output folder, please see
the above question 19.
10. Why the converting procedure is very quick and
get no result?
This may because that the WMA codec is not installed , or installed
incorrectly, or the wrong version WMA codec is installed, or the WMA
files are protected.
